Fly Tiwi FreightFREIGHT ACCEPTANCE All freight items must be consigned on the company's standard consignment notes with the person/company sending the item to complete & sign the declaration. (Click on the download link below to print a consignment note) >> Download Consignment Note When delivering freight to Fly Tiwi, please ensure you comply with the following: - The item is delivered a minimum of 1hr prior to the scheduled flight departure time.
- The packaging is suitable for the item being sent, so as not to cause damage to the aircraft. (e.g. Fish is to be sent in a water proof container with a second inner liner and taped closed; a bike must have the pedals removed, the tyres deflated and the handle bars turned sideways).
- Check that the container you are using does not contain any markings that relate to an item originally contained in the package. (e.g. Paint, lighter fluid, etc)
- The package does not contain dangerous goods. (Refer to procedure below for dangerous goods)
- If the item is fragile notify the staff when delivering the item.
- The maximum size of acceptable freight for our category of aircraft is 370mmW x 420mmH x 680mmL and maximum of 15Kg per single
Note: If the item does not comply with all of the above, Fly Tiwi, does not guarantee the item will travel and is subject to available space and weight on the aircraft for each particular flight. Please contact the reservation staff if your freight item is outside the above limits to make special arrangements for their carriage prior to attending the terminal. DANGEROUS GOOD - Please contact DGM Australia Pty Ltd on 08-89475222 and advise what Dangerous Goods you have, quantities and if known, what the UN number and packaging group.
- We will then be able to advise if the goods can go by air.
- If possible supply a MSDS sheet (Material Safety Data Sheet) for the product you wish to transport.
- Bring goods and paperwork to our office at Unit 1-29 Tannadice Street, Winnellie where we give you a price, pack and document your shippment to IATA standards. (Note: We can collect and deliver your shipment for an extra charge.
- If you choose to take your shipment away with you back to the airport, tamper proof stickers will be attached to your package to prevent unathorised opening and to ensure security integrity of the package.
- You will also be given documents to be handed to the airline operator who will use these as part of their security requirements, prior to the uplift of the cargo.
Note: All dangerous goods consignments must be paid for before packing commences with either cash or a valid credit card. DGM Australia operates weekdays 0830 until 1700 hours.
